How we work

Through community dialogues with various stakeholders including traditional leadership, WST community clusters addressing socio-economic issues by advocating for gender-conscious cultural values that include women participation at all levels norms for women’s inclusion in development. Community-based focal persons coordinate the programmes and conduct needs assessments to ensure programmes are responsive to the community’s needs. Information exchange programmes among the target communities are a meaningful way of replicating best practices and identifying what works in different settings.
